This week, our wonderful kindergartners learned about the life cycle of a chicken (egg to hatching to baby chick to fully grown chicken). They made their own life cycle of a chicken craft to reinforce what was learned.
Today, the students learned about the layers of the ocean and the different sea creatures that inhabit each layer. The students got to observe sea creatures in jars and had a healthy discussion about what makes them different.
Today, the students observed red worms and got play with them in class. Our squirmy friends were happy to share their stories about how they eat and how they use their additional senses in order to compensate for their lack of eyes.
Today, the students observed and participated in the wonders of bubbles. We made bubbles and discussed how they are formed.
